Our Lord Jesus asking:
“Why persecution of His people”?
Temporarily blinding Paul’s eyes.

Chosen an ambassador for Christ,
A new creature shedding old sin,
Becoming a laborer,
Preaching the gospel,
His battles for Jesus to begin.

He walked in Thee Spirit,
Message of love to one another,
Long suffering his price to pay,
Yet brought him peace and joy,
A righteous example,
His life a testament of Jesus,
Did he convey.
